Well, that’s a wrap on 2022! I would say that it has been yet another strange, strange year and the turbulent times we now live in are not getting any easier. That being said, I want to avoid dwelling on the negatives, and instead reflect on some of the things that brought me joy and more experience 😊
In no particular order, my Top Nine sewing makes for 2022 (based on Instagram likes) were…
- A McCalls 8083 tea dress in a luxurious deadstock silk
- A New Look 6696 maxi dress in a bold botanical print viscose challis
- A By Hand London Hannah wrap dress in an airy cotton seersucker
- A By Hand London Anna Hack skater dress in a gorgeous Rifle Paper Co. cotton
- MY ME-MADE WEDDING DRESS! ♥️
- A Deer & Doe Mélilot relaxed fit shirt in a floaty viscose
- A McCalls 7974 sun dress in a summery viscose linen
- A New Look 6508 box-pleat skater dress in my favourite Lady McElroy print in cotton lawn
- A Vogue 9197 skater dress in the perfect winter floral viscose twill
I had three main highlights this year; my continuing collaboration with Minerva (check out my profile) and my upcoming brand ambassadorship for Lady McElroy, but the absolute pinnacle this year was making my own wedding dress ♥️ I have a mammoth blog post coming about making my dress, so I hope this sneak peek is enough for now!
